James qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 1996 graduating with merit in both Small Animal Medicine and Surgery and Large Animal Medicine and Surgery. He worked in a mixed practice for a year and then completed an internship at Three Counties Equine. Since then he has worked in a number of different practices looking after horses, cattle, sheep and a range of other large and small animals. James enjoys cycling and walking his spotty dog Lottie in his spare time!

Kate graduated from Cambridge in 2008 and spent 2 months in India exploring and volunteering for TOLFA (a veterinary charity) performing neutering operations and rabies vaccinations on stray dogs and caring for farm animals near Pushkar in Rajasthan. On returning to the UK she worked for a mixed practice in Kent for 3 years before moving to the southwest.

Kate joined Clifton Vets in January 2015 moving from a role at hospital-based practice in Wiltshire. She enjoys all aspects of small animal veterinary work though her main interests are internal medicine and imaging. Outside of work she enjoys going running and cooking.
